Christmas List

Josh has already started his Christmas List.  He told me about it in the car today.  I told him that Christmas isn't for a very long time, but he's sure he already knows what he wants.
"Mom, you know what I want for Christmas?"
"Nope, what?"
"I want a Pro XX scooter!"
"Ok...but you already have a scooter, why would you need another one?"
"Well, this one I can't jump really with it.  But the Pro XX I can do jumps and grind rails and do tricks."
"Hmm, ok."
"How many 'big' things do I get?"
"Like 1 or 2."
"And how many small things do I get?"
"I have no idea bud."  I'd never thought I'd need to specify the number of 'small' gifts.
"How bout we say 4 small gifts."
"Alright."
"Then I want 2 gaks and 2 silly puttys.  I hope that this year will be more like Christmas than last year."
"What do you mean?"
"Last year we didn't get very many presents and my stocking wasn't all the way full."
"Oh brother!  There were plenty of presents and your stocking sure looked full to me."
"No, it's because I woke up before you did and I wanted to see what was in my stocking so I dumped everything out.  Then I put it back in but I didn't put it in the way Santa did, so it looked full but it wasn't."
"Right..."
"And there weren't very many presents.  Under the tree it looked half dead!"
"What?!! You're so full of it." 

Pip

While at the grocery store on Tuesday, Josh saw a pair of blue baby Crocs.  "Mom, we should have gotten these for that baby. You know,  your brother who didn't have any kids and then he had one?"
"Pip?"
"Yeah!  We should buy these for Pip. "
We didn't buy them.  You can thank me later Dave.

Today:

Josh: Pip Henderson.  Hmm..that name goes really good together.
Me:  His name's Hudson.
Josh: Nuh uh.  He said that we could pick what name we wanted to call him.
Me: Oh, so what are you going to call him?
Josh: Pip Henderson.
Me: It's Hudson
Josh:  What's his last name?
Me: Monsivais
Josh: Oh!! Pip Monsivais.  Hmm, that's a pretty popular name.
Me: What?!!
Josh:  No!  Just the first part, Pip.  That's a popular name.
Me:  Hmmm.
