On Saturday Josh came in the office and announced "I was just discussing with Gwen how I'm probably an alien and she's probably a vampire." Now, that's a conversation starter. Mike and I kind of looked at each other and we were both at a loss for words. Knowing this could only get better, I grabbed a pen and paper to write down all the facts.
"So....you're an alien huh?" I ask.
"Well I'm not sure, for sure, but I think so."
"An alien. How do you figure?"
"Yeah cause how come I'm so speedy? You always can tell by my speed that I'm an alien."
"Why?"
"I'm faster than usual and play stuff that's from my imagination but it seems real."
Josh then adds "I'm just telling everyone don't be fooled by my speedness."
That did it. I laughed and I laughed hard. Mike tried to reason with him but he wanted nothing to do with logic. The rest of the day was spent with him running from one side of the room to the other and saying "How did I make it all the way over here so fast?"
