Yesterday, Sarah, the elf on the shelf, hid herself underneath a cup in the cupboard. The first thing Josh did when he woke up was check the pantry and then look around the house searching for her. He couldn't find her so I had Josh go get his own cup for breakfast and when he opened the cupboard he goes "woah!" as he jumps back. He was all smiles.
This morning Josh woke up and when he turned on the light in his
bathroom he was surprised to see Sarah sitting on the counter. He
started laughing as he called me in and gave me a play by play of him
walking into the bathroom and seeing Sarah. He then comments on the
fact that she's holding some nail polish and that's when I look down at
his toes and bust up laughing. He follows my gaze and starts laughing
hysterically when he sees that 'Sarah' has painted the toenails on his
right foot, blue. We laugh for a little while and then I say that we
should take a picture of Sarah so that we can put it on the blog. He
agrees and snaps a photo of her.
I then suggest we take a picture of his toes. This was his reaction:
HAHAHAHA! Poor Josh. I kept asking why we couldn't take a picture of his toes and he finally said because he didn't want me to put it on the blog. Shoot! I asked him if I could take a picture if I promised not to put it on the blog and he agreed. I didn't take it. I knew it would end up on here and then I'd be a liar so instead I just put the camera away. He did try to scrap it off before I told him about nail polish remover. See, I'm not THAT mean.
