New Years Resolutions and Other Randomness

*Josh made some New Year's Resolutions at church the other day and I thought they were pretty cute.
-drink more water
-play outside
-"finhs souper moreo 3d land"
-go sledding


*He also wrote me a note about a month back that said, "Dear mom I will wach Hoson."


*The other day the radio was on while we were driving in the car, and Josh blurted out "Yes!! The radio said were in the goods now.  I don't know what that means but it sounds like something good!"


*We FINALLY finished wrestling.  We WILL NOT be doing that again.  He did not win a single match and by the end he wasn't even trying.  Here are pictures from his final tournament. And yes the picture quality stinks but I was a little peeved about the whole thing so I didn't bother to try to fix it.  Here he is on the floor, goofing.

 And.....goofing around again.  He did get fourth place (out of 4) and he was proud about that.

As we left the wrestling gym Josh said "I don't think wrestling's that great so I think I'll just do tennis for the rest of my life."

*Josh decided that he wanted to throw a party for Mike's side of the family before everyone left for Christmas break.  He LOVES throwing parties.  So I asked him what he wanted to have for dinner and he said nachos.  I was fine with that but Mike apparently wasn't.  He told Josh that Nachos wasn't a very Christmasy meal.  So Josh asked what a good Christmas meal would be and Mike said Ham and Potatoes.  Josh was easily swayed and said "ok, then we'll have ham and potatoes."
 I prefer nachos, so I jokingly said "Well, I'm not going unless we have nachos."
Josh said "Ok, then we'll have nachos."
Mike said "Well I'm not going unless we have ham and potatoes."
Josh responded with "Then you can just stay in your room!"

I asked him what we were going to have for dessert at this party and he said "We're going to have banana cream pie....Yummm...I love banana cream pie."

*I was making some orange chicken for dinner one night when Josh came into the kitchen and asked what I was making. I told him orange chicken and he said "Oh, I LOVE it!"  I then told him that it wasn't Panda Express orange chicken, to which he replied "Oh, then I hate it."

*When we were on our Disneyland trip we drove past a huge Crane that was carrying a baby in a baby blanket in it's mouth.  Josh said "Did you see that crane?  It had underpants in its mouth!"

*Also on our Disneyland trip, Mike asked Josh if he wanted to go see an Angels baseball game the next day.  Josh said "Nah, I'm too busy tomorrow."

*At the end of the first day at Disneyland, I asked Josh what his favorite ride was.  He said "It's a Small World."  The next morning before leaving the hotel,  I asked him the same thing again and he said "Splash Mountain and Star Tours."
His least favorites remained the same though, the Haunted Mansion and Indiana Jones. I asked him what he thought of Disneyland overall and he said "mmm pretty good! A 10."  He also gave the hotel room, which he continually called a motel,  a 10 although Mike only rated it a 5 or 6.
