Genius?

FYI Josh has a water bottle with a rubber straw that he keeps by his bed.

Last night after putting Josh to bed, he called out to me from his room "Mom, guess what....I can suck water up my nose!"
"What?" I asked as I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper, knowing that this was going to be good.
"I can suck water up my nose.  I'm serious."
"That's pretty gross.  Why would you even try it?"
"My nose was hurting and so I put it up my nostril and sucked it up and it felt better.  Don't you think that's magic?"
"Mmm, probably not magic."  I then heard some sucking noises and he triumphantly announces "and I can swallow it too!  Really!  Do you want to see?"
"Ewww, no!  That's gross." I could already picture it in my mind and it was kind of starting to make me a little nauseous. 
More slurping noises.  "I think it also keeps the boogers to stay on my nose."
Oh boy.  "What?  What do you mean?"  I know, I probably shouldn't encourage it, but I was kind of curious.
"When I suck up the water it goes up by the middle of my nose and then down my throat and if my booger was starting to come off then the water could stick it back on." Slurp, slurp, slurp.  "Yep, it glues it back on."
