Bananas

Josh claims to hate bananas even though he loves banana bread.  And when Mike mashes them up and puts them into the pancake mix, Josh gives them rave reviews.  I've found 2 more ways that Josh likes bananas.  These cute little...banana cookies...I don't know what they're called actually.  It's a banana slice sandwiched between two mini vanilla wafers with peanut butter on them, and then rolled in sprinkles.  He requests this snack often now.

The second way is in the form of banana "ice cream."  I had seen this idea floating around Pinterest (Squeal! LOVE Pinterest!) and finally had some bananas that were way too ripe to eat.  So I cut them up and stuck them in the freezer for about 2 hrs, then blended them all up.  I poured Josh a bowl and he was a little hesitant to try it but when he did his face lit up and he said "Satisfying...and Delicious!  Mom did you make this for dessert?"
"Ummm...Yep, yep I did."
"Wow, thanks for making this dessert mom, it's delicious!"
Ha, score one for me.
