Because of my recent kidney stone, I have to do a 24 hr urine collection and then send a sample off to some lab. I started this morning and just left the pee catcher thing on the toilet because....well, why not. This evening I was hanging up some laundry in my closet when Josh came walking in to talk to me. He spotted the new addition to the toilet and asked what it was for. I told him and after looking at it for a long time he says "You're never going to make it."
"What?" I asked, confused. "What do you mean."
"Well, you're never going to fill it up all the way."
I figured out that he thought I had to fill up the whole catcher thing and I was about to explain to him that after I go to the bathroom, I empty it into a big orange container when he said "I could probably help you."
"What?"
"I could probably help you with your sample."
"How?" I ask. He doesn't reply, he just kind of chuckles. Then it hits me! "Did you mean that you could pee into it for me?"
He laughs "Yeah. Because I have to go to the bathroom during the day. And sometimes I go to the bathroom at home. But if I did it on a Saturday, I could really fill it up!"
